Acknowledgements

Steam Incorporated would like to acknowledge and thank the following organisations for recent grants towards the cost of restoring and preserving our heritage locomotive and carriage fleet.
October 2007 the New Zealand Community Trust granted $5000.00 to purchase sheet aluminium for replacing the metal sides of vintage carriages.
October 2008 the Paraparaumu - Raumati Community Board granted $500 towards the cost of a carriage shed feasibility study.
December 2008 the Pelorus Trust granted $2,605.00 toward the cost of new flooring in carriage AA1757.
April 2009 Pub Charity granted $4,000 towards the cost of casting new cylinder liners for locomotive JA1271.
April 2009 the Lion Foundation granted $7,336.00 towards the cost of casting new cylinder liners for locomotive JA1271.
We would also like to acknowledge the tremendous effort contributed by our small band of volunteers who devote thousands of hours each year in restoring, maintaining, and operating our fleet of locomotives and carriages, plus associated facilities.

And of course a big thankyou to all of our "customers". Our passengers and organisations that travel on and hire our trains.
