Our depot workhorse. In regular use moving rolling stock around our depot and for assembling consists for upcoming NZ train trips. Obtained from the Ohai Railway Board for use by Steam Inc. at Paekakariki by the late Reid McNaught.
Our loco is one of two built by Mitsubihi for the Ohai Railway Board that followed on from an NZR order for three Dsb class shuners from Mitsubihi that were of similar design. Sister loco ORB #1 is now at the Ocean Beach Railway in Dunedin.
